Protect your information: Never send passwords or full payment details. BlueWater Marlin does not need them to troubleshoot the app.
Ocean observations and analyses are processed and quality-checked before publication. Source ages vary, and clouds can delay infrared observations. The app shows source or analysis time where applicable instead of calling older data live.
Load your fishing area before leaving the dock. Previously loaded SST, chlorophyll, and sargassum grids can be restored from cache. Currents, wind, tides, live updates, and new areas may require a connection. Cached data remains labelled with source time.
Check the connection and pass-status chips, try Refresh, then open View app diagnostics from the in-app Help & Support page if the layer still does not load.
The readout uses the nearest displayed source or analysis grid cell, with no app-side interpolation. Resolution varies by product: MUR SST is about one kilometre, OLCI chlorophyll is about four kilometres where available, and a coarser DINEOF analysis may fill cloud gaps.
